All sales are final unless otherwise stated. We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and images, but please note that there may be slight variations in colour or texture due to differences in computer monitors and photography.
1. Clearance Items
All clearance items are sold as-is and are not eligible for returns or refunds.
2. Change of Mind
We do not accept returns or exchanges due to changes of mind, due to and not limited to incorrect size or fit. Please ensure that you carefully measure your space and consider your needs before making a purchase.
Flat Pack Furniture
All flat pack furniture is sold as-is and is not eligible for returns or refunds. We provide assembly instructions with each flat pack item. We are not responsible for customers who are unable to assemble the furniture. Any warranty issue customer can refer to our warranty policy found on our website.
Lost Manuals
If you have lost the assembly manual for your flat pack furniture, you can typically find it online by searching for the product model number. We are not responsible for customers who accidentally throw away the manual with the packaging.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our customer service team within 2 days of receiving the item. We will arrange for a replacement part.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping and delivery costs are calculated based on your location or the size and weight of the item. Please refer to our shipping policy for more information, which can be found on our website. Shipping/Delivery cost are non refundable.

1. Returns
- We accept change of mind returns under certain conditions. To be eligible for a change of mind return, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when it was received. (Clearance items unfortunately are not accepted)
- Change of mind returns must be initiated within 48 hours of receipt from the date of delivery.
- To initiate a change of mind return, please contact our customer service team to obtain a return authorization and instructions on how to proceed.
- Please note that return shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the customer, and change of mind returns also incur a restocking fee of 25% of the value of the order.
2. Faulty or damaged goods.
- If a product is received damaged or faulty, we will repair, replace and/or refund based on the nature of the damage or fault.
- It is important you check your goods as soon as received and if any issues we need to be informed within 48 hours as we will be unable to accept any claims after that time frame. Please also ensure to retain all original packaging until further notice.
- If you notice any damage to your goods please notify the driver, sign delivery docket stating subject to inspection AND email modernfabnest@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.
- Please send your report together with images (zoomed images will not be accepted) to enable us to assess your case promptly.
3. Representation
Any views or opinions represented on the Website belong solely to the content creators and do not represent those of people, institutions or organizations that HDA Furniture or its creators may or may not be associated with in professional or personal capacity, unless explicitly stated. Any views or opinions are not intended to malign any religion, ethnic group, club, organization, company, or individual.

Actual colours and design may vary slightly, due to different device screen settings, the lighting in the installation location, slight differences in product finishes over time and other factors. Home Decoration Australia will not accept responsibility for any colour or design differences that are not factory faults. In purchasing from Home Decoration Australia you agree to accept the small risk that there will be a slight variation between the actual colour and design, and the representation on our website. In addition, please be aware that colours and textured finishes often vary between manufacturers; for example slightly different shades or shininess, and different looks and feel of material.

If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product free of charge.
Warranty Limitations and Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear. It also does not cover damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs, or damage to the product caused by shipping or handling.

Please note that this warranty policy is only valid for purchases made through our website and does not cover products purchased from other retailers or resellers.

13. Sofa Lounge Suite
This warranty is valid from the date of purchase and provides protection against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year.
During this time, we will repair or replace any sofa that proves to be defective due to manufacturing defects or workmanship issues.
Please note that our warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear.
Additionally, the warranty does not cover any damage resulting from improper assembly, handling, or storage.
2A LEATHER CARE & WARRANTY
Dust, dirt, and perspiration are the main causes of leather damage. Every leather lounge has a protective, clear coat called the “Tanner's” coat. Once this breaks down, leather can discolor; in fact, color can start to peel off. Cleaning and conditioning the leather regularly keeps this “Tanner's” coat from breaking down.
The leather warranty on our leather range and other 100% cowhide leather products from Home Decoration Australia are valid for a period of 12 months. This warranty is void if you fail to take appropriate care of the leather.
Recommendations for caring for leather are:
(1) Once a week, wipe down the lounge with a damp cloth with to remove any dust and dirt.
(2) Every 3-6 months, use an approved leather cleaner and conditioner to clean and condition the leather. This regularity with which you clean and condition depends on the amount of use the lounge gets. For example, if you use the lounge for hours each day, then you should clean and condition it every 3 months.
(3) White leather in particular is very susceptible to dye transfer from denim jeans, or other coloured dye fabrics, transfered staining is not covered under the fabric guarantee.

- Cosmetic damage such as minor scratches or scuffs.
- Damage caused by acts of God (e.g., floods, earthquakes).
Warranty Claims:

You will need to provide:
- Proof of purchase (original receipt or invoice).
- A clear description of the defect.
- Photos or videos of the defect.
Warranty Service:
- Seller will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective parts or the entire sofa.
- Seller may require the return of the defective item for inspection and repair.
- Transportation costs for warranty service may be the responsibility of the customer.
Disclaimer:
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the sofa. Seller reserves the right to inspect the sofa and determine the cause of the defect before providing warranty service.
Exclusion for Pilling: Pilling is a normal characteristic of certain fabrics and is not considered a manufacturing defect. While pilling can be bothersome, it is not covered under this warranty. This warranty does not provide coverage for the development of pilling.

MATTRESS WARRANTY
Warranty on Mattress is One Year
Conditions
What this Guarantee does not cover:
- Mattress fabric (including stains, burns, pilling, or loose covers)
- Normal body indentations (less than 32 mm)
- Handles (where fitted) – these should be used only to position the mattress and should not be used to support the full weight of the mattress
- Border wires, which run along the perimeter of the mattress (innerspring) and foundation, bent due to moving or folding the sleep set
- Issues relating to comfort choice, ie the mattress is too firm or too soft.
- Comfort is a personal choice and while adjustments are possible these are not a manufacturing fault.
- Issues relating to heat.
- Damage due to abuse. Do not allow anyone to jump on your mattress.
- Bed Height
- New bed smell/odour
- Mattress damage due to an inappropriate foundation. If the mattress is damaged through its use in conjunction with a non-supportive foundation, the warranty may be void.
- Minor manufacturing anomalies that do not impact the performance of the bed (eg. mis-stitching on quilting).
- Damage due to incorrect storage. Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid mattresses should be stored flat or comfort layers may detach from the spring unit.
- Visco-elastic foams are temperature sensitive and feel variation may occur depending on outside temperatures. This is not a manufacturing fault.
- Not Using the appropriate mattress protector
3A EXCLUSIONS
This Warranty will not apply if any of the following apply.
(1) Repairs to a product are made or attempted by a service provider other than one approved by us in advance.
(2) The product has not been used or maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions as provided with the product.
(3) The customer abnormally uses the product for example if the product is abused, misused, dropped, crushed, impacted with any hard surface, exposed to extreme heat (including fire) or cold, cleaned improperly, not maintained properly, or used after partial failure.
(4) The product was a sales/clearance product or floor sample made on an ‘as is’ basis.
(5) The product is used for commercial or non-domestic use.
(6) The product is damaged due to storage, handling, transportation, or improper disassembly or assembly.
(7) The product has been modified, incorrectly adjusted, or operated, subjected to the incorrect electrical supply or inconsistent electrical supply, or used with inappropriate accessories.
(8) The product is tampered with in any way.
(9) The product's serial number, as applied by the manufacturer, has been altered or removed from the product.
To make a claim under this warranty, please contact our customer service team within one year of the purchase date. We will require proof of purchase and may require photographs or other documentation to assess the issue.

4A NO CHANGE OF MIND REFUNDS FURNITURE ITEMS
Please choose carefully as refunds are not be provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection, or found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your order.
There may be variances between the colors and textures of timber, leather, and other products in-store and depicted on our online store due to the natural characteristics of the product. Colors, shades, or textures may appear different from the physical product if they are viewed on screens and may present differently on different displays and screens. If the exact color, shade, texture, or dimensions is important to you please arrange a viewing at one of our stores.
All particulars of weight, size, and dimensions on our website are approximate only.
Refunds will not be given for any such variations on colors, shades, or textures as will be considered a change of mind. However, if Goods are materially different from the representation on our website, you may be entitled to a refund or exchange under the Australian Consumer Law.
We reserve the ability to, at our election, authorize a refund, replacement, or store credit if we are unable to replace faulty goods, have been wrongly described, are different from the product purchased on the website, or don’t perform as advertised.
A purchase from our store is a binding contract of sale - On purchase you agree that a chargeback is not an appropriate method for resolving "change of mind," minor transit delays, or "item not as described" claims where the item matches the provided specifications. Filing a chargeback for these reasons is considered a breach of this contract.
In the event that a chargeback is filed and subsequently found in favor of HDA Furniture, or if a chargeback is filed fraudulently, HDA Furniture reserves the right to:

Charge a $150 Administration Fee to cover the cost of responding to the dispute.

Seek recovery of the original debt through a licensed debt collection agency.

Report the default to credit reporting bureaus, which may affect your credit rating.

Recover all legal and collection costs incurred in the process of reclaiming the funds.
If a chargeback is initiated for an item that has already been delivered, it will be treated as theft of goods. HDA Furniture will immediately report the incident to the relevant authorities and initiate legal action to recover the physical property or the full retail value of the items.
Final Sale & Custom Orders: Orders marked as "Custom," "Special Order," or "Clearance" are non-refundable. Initiating a refund or chargeback on these items is a direct violation of these Terms of Sale.
